ATAWA AI Technology and Consultancy has secured a licence to operate in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, marking a major expansion of its artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and technology consultancy operations.
The company said the new Abu Dhabi entity is licensed for activities spanning AI research and consultancy, AI development, cybersecurity, information technology, computer systems and software development.
Other licensed areas include project management and human resources consultancy.
Beyond technology development, ATAWA said it provides professional training, institutional capacity building and global consultancy services across the United States, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Africa.
The organisation said its programmes are designed to help governments, businesses and professionals strengthen their capacity in AI, cybersecurity, digital transformation, project management and responsible technology governance.
According to ATAWA, its experience in establishing the Abu Dhabi operation has also provided practical exposure to government supplier registration, procurement platforms, invoicing, delivery documentation and payment procedures.
The company said the experience has positioned it to assist organisations seeking to navigate Abu Dhabi and UAE government procurement, supplier onboarding and payment processes.
The new development, ATAWA said, will strengthen its ability to serve clients across the GCC, Africa and the United States.
It reaffirmed its commitment to its mission of “building trustworthy AI for a diverse world.”
